About the Project, Program & FAQ
About the Project
Children absorb attitudes toward money not from formal “financial discussions” but from how parents react to bills, spending, requests, and unexpected expenses. A single look, phrase, or habit can shape a child’s internal “money thermostat”: fear, shame, greed, or calm confidence.
Psychological research on financial socialization (2023–2026) shows that pressure, fear-based messaging, or complete silence about money often leads to financial anxiety in adulthood.
At the same time, calm and age-appropriate communication helps children develop a healthy relationship with money — without fear, shame, or the feeling that money is more important than relationships.
This webinar will not teach “how to force a child to save money,” and it will not provide shopping lists for financial education tools. Instead, we examine how children interpret money through parental behavior, which words and actions leave the deepest impact, and how to create conversations about finances that help children grow up feeling confident and emotionally secure.
The project is strictly educational and does not promote products, services, or commercial solutions.
This project does not promote any financial education apps, parenting courses, banking services, investment tools, or commercial applications.
The webinar is provided for educational purposes only. The invited expert participates as a guest contributor.
